see which stretch ABT soloist, Thomas Forster, recommends to do daily!

Thomas Forster is a personal trainer and American Ballet Theatre Soloist, here is the stretch he recommends all dancers do daily.  1.  Begin in a lunge with right leg front –  knee bent at 90 degree angle –  left leg in back with knee straight.  2. Place left hand on the floor next to your right foot.  3.  Twist your upper body towards your knee reaching your right arm up to the sky.  4.  Reverse on the opposite side.  This is a great exercise for targeting the major muscle groups and improves mobility in your hips, shoulders, and spine.  (Dance Magazine, February 2019)
