About The Dance Center of Greensboro
The Dance Center of Greensboro offers the highest quality of dance education by combining our standardized curriculum training with our professional faculty. Our teaching methods work, our faculty have professional dance experience, and our students improve year after year. The Dance Center of Greensboro offers technique classes in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, leaps & turns, hip hop, tumbling, and pre-school dance classes.
Additionally, The Dance Center of Greensboro offers a ‘pre-professional company’ which provides multiple performance opportunities for the more serious dance student. Being a member of the pre-professional program requires extra technique classes and numerous rehearsals in a weeks time. These committed dancers gain performance experience participating in our annual nutcracker ballet, national ballet examinations, collegiate half-time shows (soccer, football, basketball), dance competitions, local community benefits, and several spring recital performances.

It’s such an honor to host these working professionals and to offer our young students the chance to ask questions, advice and to be encouraged to follow their dreams.
